Tested at PCSIR Laboratories, Peshawar. Codex reference limits: moisture ≤ 20%, HMF ≤ 40 mg/kg, diastase ≥ 8.

  • Black seed holds a well-known place in prophetic and Unani tradition; that reputation is why this variety is asked for by name.
  • Be clear about what this is: honey made from nigella nectar. It is not black seed oil, and it does not carry oil-level thymoquinone.
  • Commonly taken with a few crushed kalonji seeds in the same spoon, which is how most households here use it.
