Buner Raw Comb Honey

• Comb is the traditional proof of an unadulterated honey — capped wax cannot be diluted after the fact.
• No extraction, straining or warming means enzymes and volatile aromatics take no processing hit.
• Beeswax itself is not digested. It passes through; it is not a nutrient.
• Same caution as all honey: never for infants under 12 months, because of the risk of infant botulism.

Comb honey is the shortest possible route from hive to table: the beekeeper cuts a capped section out of the frame and it goes into the box. It is never spun, never strained and never warmed, which is why the HMF figure on the plate is the lowest of anything we sell.

The wax is edible. Chew it like gum and spit it out when the sweetness goes, or spread the whole thing on warm bread.
